Rulebook
The rules in this rulebook apply from 29 July 2025.
In this rulebook, the following definitions apply:
- Pension provision*:
A provision to save for your pension in a tax-efficient way. This includes deposits into your annuity account, the premiums paid for your annuity insurance, or your voluntary additional deposits into your pension fund.
* Are you unsure whether you are saving in a tax-efficient way, what kind of provision you have, and whether you are eligible for the subsidy? Then, we advise you to ask your pension provider. In the frequently asked questions, we provide more information about the types of provisions and about terms such as ‘tax-efficient’ and ‘annuity’.
- Application period: the period for which you receive the compensation. This period is a maximum of 12 months, which is calculated from the date of your application.
- This subsidy is open to self-employed individuals in the cultural and creative sectors. Based on the SBI code(s) with which you are registered with the Chamber of Commerce (NL: Kamer van Koophandel), we determine whether you belong to the target group. Click on the following link to check whether you are in the target group: SBI target group list.
- You can apply for a contribution towards the costs of your pension provision if you have a pension provision at the time of your application.
- You will receive our contribution afterward based on the costs of your pension provision during the application period.
- You can claim our contribution up to 12 weeks after the end of your application period. After that, this is no longer possible.
- You may only submit a declaration once.
- Our contribution amounts to 50% of the costs of your pension provision. The maximum paid contribution is €450 for the entire application period (for this, your pension costs should be €900 or more).
- If you have arranged a pension provision for yourself on or after July 1, 2024, you will receive an incentive bonus of €200.
- You may only apply once unless we reject your application and ask you to submit a new application. You cannot qualify for the subsidy multiple times.
- Applications can only be submitted via the designated website. You can only ask questions about the processing of your application via email. There is no telephone help desk.
- Within five working days, you will receive an email about whether your application has been approved or rejected. You will receive a separate email if you qualify for the incentive bonus. If your application has been approved, the confirmation email will contain instructions on how to submit a declaration in order to receive your contribution.
- Our contribution to the costs of pension provision is determined on the basis of your declaration, supported by proof of payment, statements, or overviews of your pension provision.
- Applicants may be asked to participate in random samples and general research on employment conditions in the cultural and creative sector.
- The application may be rejected if, in Platform ACCT’s opinion, it does not align with the intent of the subsidy.
The government-provided incentive budget for Nu voor Later is limited. Applications can be submitted as long as there is budget. Platform ACCT reserves the right to change or terminate the subsidy at any time. Please contact info@oogvoorimpuls.nl if you have any questions about this.
